Will my state tax refund also get deposited in this account, not the one I originally chose it to be in? So many questions, so little time. I never received the card they sent me (which apparently arrived March 17th.) so I guess I’ll be using my digital wallet from my iPhone to make purchases and send money. but WHY is not the account I chose for it to be in when I filed my taxes? Anyways, got an account with Credit Karma and finally saw my federal tax refund in an accessible place. They tell me Turbo Tax is linked with Credit Karma and that I need to open an account to access my refund. I call MVB today (after endless attempts trying to talk to a human at IRS) because I’ve waited too long for the “redirect to your account” part. After some research, I find out the reason my routing number and account were different is because I chose to have fees from last year taken out of this years refund which they process those fees through MVB then redirect it to your account. I’ve never used this bank in my entire life. I copy and paste routing number to Google and is attached to a branch named “MVB Banking”. Turns out that the account number/routing number were completely different than what I have! I know I wouldn’t have entered every digit wrong. ? I checked in with Turbo Tax to access my documents so that I could make sure I entered my bank account credentials correctly. Checked IRS website around March 20th with the “where’s my refund” portion of the page which indicates that my refund had been sent March 16th. Thanks for sharing your experiences.a little comforting to me.įiled with Turbo Tax March 6th, amounts were accepted shortly after. Most are saying anybody on IRS phone will not help with specifics, anyway. Tried calling.can't get thru.didn't expect to. These messages have not changed since Feb. Most annoying/aggravating thing is not even having the slightest clue about a time frame to receive it.īoth WMR and IRStogo tools continue stuck on their basic messages ("we have no information to give you on refund".topic 152.and "information doesnt match"). Have educated myself the last several months on what is going on with IRS' current situation.so, I understand a little bit now (extensive delay). Never in my wildest dreams did I think it would take this long (still waiting June 16, '22). 10, '22.Īm claiming the EITC (bulk of my refund amount), which takes longer, of course. Mailed paper return (will file electronically going forward.kicking myself for not doing that this year, believe me.) Feb.
